How do I fit your Design Kit to my space?
This is the question we get asked THE MOST. It’s easy to do with your builder and it starts with you picking the right Design Kit for your space.
Here’s a breakdown of the process:
Step 1: Measure the width, length and height of your kitchen.
We have a handy how-to guide on our blog. Make an allowance for circulation if you plan on using one of our island kitchen Design Kits.
Step 2. Pick your Design Kit
Explore our Design Kits and pick a kitchen shape that works best for your space. Island kitchens are great for larger spaces, otherwise our U, L and straight kitchens work great for smaller spaces. Each kitchen description includes the minimum kitchen size.
Step 3: Send our drawings to your builder or cabinet maker
After downloading our kit, send the drawings in the builder’s pack to your builder or cabinet maker. They can help you adjust our designs to fit your space. Your cabinet maker makes your built-in cabinets. They will make the relevant adjustments to your cabinets to fit your room width - view the diagrams to see how this works.
Option 1 - Equalise units
Equalise all units to suit the width of your space (your cabinet maker should advise on the minimum and maximum width per unit).
Option 2 - Add or remove units
Add or remove whole base cabinets (like adding a drawer unit) to suit your space width.
